Stone-Eye Zone (All Star Coins) - Layer Cake Desert 1 - New Super Mario Bros U Deluxe

Woop Woop!!! We have finished getting the star coins in Acorn Plains. Now Mario is on his way to the next world. Layer-Cake Desert awaits Mario's arrival. Levels continue to become more challenging as Mario progresses through his journey. There are 9 levels that Mario will complete, including his defeat of Morton Koopa Jr.

The first level is Stone-Eye Zone. I recommend playing this level with the Super Acorn. Having the Super Acorn makes getting two of the star coins easier.

First Star Coin

Mario will find the first star coin in the air about a quarter of the way through the level.

Second Star Coin

There is a pipe that Mario will have to jump up to see. It's at the palm tree directly after the halfway marker. Once Mario is on top of the palm tree, he can go inside the pipe. Inside Mario finds blocks, a coin switch, and the star coin.

Third Star Coin

Mario drops out of a yellow pipe after getting the second star coin. Mario will find the star coin shortly after the second palm tree from here. In a stream of sand, it is quite difficult to get without the Super Acorn. Without the Super Acorn, it may be possible with a carefully timed jump, but may take many tries.

Today we are reviewing two monitors. The criteria for these monitors is that they come from different brands, have at least a 144hz refresh rate, and be under $200.  The first monitor is made by LG. Being the  LG 24GN600-B . Which is an UltraGear, LG's product line of gaming monitors. The second being the ASUS VG247Q1A , one of the TUF Gaming monitors made by ASUS. At this time there are monitors boasting 165hz, 144hz still does remain ideal for most games especially when playing games with quick moving gameplay or cinematics. The monitor does have a 1ms response time. It is also equipped with AMD's FreeSync. It has a 1920x1080 resolution. The monitor does have anti-glare, as well as HDR (High Dynamic Range). The game starts with the player gaining control of the characters outside of the town of Corneria. You can enter either Corneria Castle or town. I find it easier to go to town first because you will be escorted to the castle afterwards. You can enter town by walking right or left before getting to the castle. In town buy some equipment and spells, and other items such as sleeping bags. Don't waste money on antidotes, you won't be encountering any enemies that can poison you right now.
