Spike's Spouting Sands (All Star Coins) - Layer Cake Desert 4 - New Super Mario Bros U Deluxe

As Mario makes his way through Spike's Spouting Sands, he will want to watch out for Spike. There are a few of them, Koopa Troopa, too. One of the star coins will be a simple find but the other two will be challenging. For all these star coins, there are timestamps in the above video description if you need help finding them.

First Star Coin

Mario will be able to find the star coin pretty simply in the early part of the level. It's hidden in no way. Check the above video if needed, timestamps are in the description.

Second Star Coin

When Mario kills a spike that is on a sand geyser. Mario will need to stand in the middle of the sand geyser. When the sand geyser is at it's highest point, Mario needs to jump. He will hit a invisible block that releases a piranha plant with a vine. When he climbs the vine, he will get to the area with the star coin. 

Third Star Coin

Shortly after the halfway marker. Mario will encounter another Spike. After Mario defeats the Spike, he needs to go to the same platform the spike was on. Once Mario is on that platform he needs to walk to the right. If he keeps walking, he will realize there's a fake wall. Behind the fake wall is a pipe to go down. Once inside Mario will get a small mushroom. This next part is really easy, just run to the right and continue holding the running buttons until you run into the star coin.

Today we are reviewing two monitors. The criteria for these monitors is that they come from different brands, have at least a 144hz refresh rate, and be under $200.  The first monitor is made by LG. Being the  LG 24GN600-B . Which is an UltraGear, LG's product line of gaming monitors. The second being the ASUS VG247Q1A , one of the TUF Gaming monitors made by ASUS. At this time there are monitors boasting 165hz, 144hz still does remain ideal for most games especially when playing games with quick moving gameplay or cinematics. The monitor does have a 1ms response time. It is also equipped with AMD's FreeSync. It has a 1920x1080 resolution. The monitor does have anti-glare, as well as HDR (High Dynamic Range). The game starts with the player gaining control of the characters outside of the town of Corneria. You can enter either Corneria Castle or town. I find it easier to go to town first because you will be escorted to the castle afterwards. You can enter town by walking right or left before getting to the castle. In town buy some equipment and spells, and other items such as sleeping bags. Don't waste money on antidotes, you won't be encountering any enemies that can poison you right now.
