Mario will want to stay on the move as there are many different kinds of falling platforms throughout Above the Cheep Cheep Seas. It could be wise to bring pink baby yoshi as he will make getting the third star coin easier. The first two star coins are not challenging to find, the second is a little difficult to get to. First Star Coin Mario will find the star coin through natural progression through the level. It is found on some falling platforms. Second Star Coin Mario will find the second star coin shortly after the midway point. It is found towards the lower part of the level.  Third Star Coin Mario will come to platforms that are attached to pulleys. After the last platform there will be a pipe towards the lower part of the level. It is easiest to get to this pipe with baby pink yoshi or the super acorn. Once Mario goes through this pipe. He will enter a room with platforms, pulleys, and a pow block. Mario is gonna have to move fast for this part. When he throws the pow block...

Haunted Shipwreck is challenging because of rotating moving platforms. It's kind of hard to miss the first star coin, but it can be missed if you go through the green door. The second star coin can be missed if you are swimming too low. The third star coin is easily missed without direction. First Star Coin The first star coin is found just before the green door. The star coin is not particularly difficult to find. Mario will want to jump from a rotating platform to the area below the green door. The star coin is found above the third circle of boos. Mario needs to jump up out of the water to find it.  Third Star Coin  The third star coin is found in the area of the level where Mario is walking through walls.   It's difficult to explain where it is. I encourage you to watch this clip to see where to find it.

  This level is called Giant Skewer Tower for a reason. Giant Skewers are moving pretty quickly through this level. Mario will want to move at a steady pace making his way through Giant Skewer Tower. Slowing down will get Mario killed. Unfortunately part of the level is underwater too.  First Star Coin Once Mario goes through that first pipe. He will emerge out of the next pipe underwater. There will  be a vertical up and down pipe directly above Mario's head when he first emerges underwater. When the Skewer goes back into the right side of the level Mario will want go into the area the skewer was in directly above that vertical pipe I was referring to earlier.   Oh yay!!! Underwater levels. We all love underwater levels don't we? Tropical Refresher takes place mostly underwater. All the star Coins are found underwater. This level Mario is gonna have to be a little patient with because he may miss a star coin otherwise. First Star Coin As Mario is progressing through the level, he will see two yellow pipes swaying back and forth, moving more or less to the left and right. After these pipes, are pipes at a 45 degree angle leaning in the direction of Mario. Wait momentarily and the star coin will emerge along the top of one of the pipes. To see in the video above, click here . Second Star Coin Mario will come to an area in the level where there are two giant puffers going up and down. When Mario gets to this area he is going to swim to the middle of the platform and hit the upside down switch. When Mario does this, it releases a lot of coins as well as the star coin.  Watch OUT MARIO!!!! That's a flying rock. This level has some pretty mean crabs. These crabs are throwing rocks at Mario. Mario can jump on or dodge these flying projectiles as he continues through Waterspout Beach. The star coins for this level should all be fairly easy to find. First Star Coin The first star coin is found about a quarter of the way through the level. It is up in the air, Mario should be able the see this star coin from the ground. Second Star Coin I had a unnecessarily difficult time trying to get this star coin. It is not a hard find. It's just kind of difficult to get to. At least for me. So you don't have to watch the entire struggle of me getting this star coin, timestamp here .  Third Star Coin This one can be missed, if not cautious. Mario will encounter a POW block in the level. When he encounters this POW block, he will want to drop it fairly soon. When he does, the star coin will drop from above. To see a video demonstration of this, click here...

  Mario is gonna have a fun time through this slippin' slidin level. He will want to be cautious of falling blocks of ice, and the many piranha plants that are found within.   First Star Coin   Mario will find the star coin by going down the first pipe that he encounters in the level. Mario will want to hurry for this one because if he doesn't the pipe will be blocked by an ice block.   Second Star Coin    After Mario gets the first star coin. He will want to look for the 4th piranha plant after getting the first star coin. Mario is going to need to start going up the yellow bricks there. Mario will see the pipe up above once he gets on top of the second ice block. As you can imagine this jump is kind of tricky to do. Watch the video above for pointers on it. Timestamp in video, here . Third Star Coin   The third star coin is found by staying high in the level after he get's the second star coin. He won't really miss it. 

After Mario gets to around the halfway marker in the level. He will want to look for a sign that is pointing to the right and kinda upward. You can't tell but Mario can walk into the platform the sign is on. Once Mario is down there he will see a pipe that he can go down. Once Mario goes down the pipe, he will be in a room that has three blocks and a small pipe. In one of the blocks Mario will find a small mushroom. He needs to get the mushroom and go through the small pipe. Once he goes through the pipe, he emerges on a platform. Mario is going to stay on the platform moving toward the right as far as he can. When Mario can no longer stay on the platform, he can jump up to the platform above. Mario will jump over a tall green pipe continuing right. Mario will then see a spike on a block flying up and down along with a sign just before the spike. Mario will want to hug the right of the platform. If he does this correctly, he will discover that he can get inside the platform. There ...

Mario is gonna have to watch out for podoboo' as he's going through Morton's Castle. There are a lot of them. There are many Dry bones too. One of the star coins is going to be kind of difficult to get. First Star Coin The first star coin is found just below a platform. There are some gaps in the floor that mario can run across. Mario has to time it just right or else he will fall in the lava. Second Star Coin Shortly after the first star coin Mario will see a red pipe in the ceiling. Mario will need to go up the moving platforms towards the uppermost part of the level. If Mario does this correctly he will appear to have jumped off the screen. Once offscreen, if he keeps going right, he will enter a pipe. To see this demonstrated, click here . Third Star Coin The third star coin is found in between moving platforms. Timing may be challenging, because platforms are moving around with no real stable ledge to jump on. Mario will see the star coin since it is not hidden.

In this level, Blooming Lakitus, Mario needs to be cautious of the cloud-riding enemy as he is not happy and wants revenge on Mario. He will be throwing spinies that will turn into piranha plants. WATCHOUT!!! One of the Star coins is found going in a pipe, and it can be kind of challenging to find. First Star Coin The first star coin is found not too far from the start of the level. No pipes to go down or anything like that. It's not hidden. It's above some straight block platforms. These platforms are next to piranha plants on rotating platforms in the sand. Second Star Coin The next star coin is found shortly after the POW block. Mario will want to take the Lakitu's cloud. After he does that he will want to fly up and to the right.   Dry Desert Mushroom will have Mario moving non-stop to stay alive. There are lots of platforms. High platforms, low platforms, rotating mushrooms Mario will have to jump across. Mario will still encounter quite a few Spike' as he progresses through the level. The star coins are fairly easy to find. The last may be kind of tricky as Mario needs to make sure that he goes down a pipe to make sure he finds it. First Star Coin The first star coin is found is little ways into the level. Mario will find the star coin between two platforms. The jumping is gonna take some careful timing to get the star coin. Second Star Coin The second star coin  is found a little ways after the midway point. It is almost hidden by the timer and the point counter. Mario will want to get rid of the spike then get the star coin. Third Star Coin The third star coin if found by going down a pipe that is a little bit after the second star coin.
